Plot Summary:
Ferris fakes an illness to convince his parents and the school that he’s too sick to attend class. His gullible parents believe him, but his suspicious principal, Ed Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), is determined to catch him in the act.

Ferris enlists his best friend, the anxious and hypochondriac Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck), and his girlfriend, the cool and beautiful Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara), to join him on an elaborate day off in Chicago. To make the day even more special, Ferris persuades Cameron to take his father’s prized 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder for a joyride.
