Anne of Green Gables is coming back in 2025, but not sure release date, Canadian television miniseries based on the classic novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery.

It’s an adaptation of the first book in the Anne of Green Gables series, which tells the story of Anne Shirley, an imaginative, talkative, and spirited young orphan who is mistakenly sent to live with two elderly siblings, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, who had intended to adopt a boy to help on their farm, Green Gables, in the small village of Avonlea, Prince Edward Island.
The story begins when Anne, an eleven-year-old girl with bright red hair and a vivid imagination, arrives at Green Gables and is initially mistaken for a boy. After the mix-up is cleared, Anne is taken in by the kind-hearted but practical Marilla and her gentle, kind brother Matthew. At first, Marilla is skeptical of Anne’s unconventional nature, but Anne soon wins her over with her charm, creativity, and loyalty.
