Megamind: The Animated Series (2025), titled Megamind Rules!, is a sequel series to the 2010 film Megamind. It continues the story of the titular character as he transitions from being a reformed villain to a superhero trying to protect Metro City while learning what it means to be a true hero.
The series emphasizes Megamind’s unique approach to heroism as he becomes the world’s first “superhero influencer,” recording his exploits and broadcasting them through his trusty Brainbots. Alongside his loyal sidekick, Ol’ Chum (formerly Minion), Roxanne Ritchi, and a new ally, Keiko Morita, Megamind tackles both humorous and action-packed challenges, including new villains such as the manipulative Machiavillain and a returning group of adversaries, the Doom Syndicate.
